We've put another steelhead season in the books and are looking forward to a fully booked SH season for 2019. I've thoroughly enjoyed working with Montana Angler and our guides on these trips as they allow a diversified type of exploration and excitement!

If you're interested in future bookings between Mid-April thru Mid-May, please feel free to contact Montana Angler to inquire further!!

We recently had an article in Portland Monthly's Travel section published. We're really excited to be featured so we can get the word out about the trips we offer! Please take a look if you'd like and see some of the great photos that we have.

We went hiking with one of our local friends, Alissa, from Adventurebound Alaska on the Perseverance Trail in Juneau. We were referred by past guests to hike the trail and ironically, Alissa was going to be hiking the trail as well so we all went together. Just a Trig and two Alissas (not sure of the plural here, so bear with me) wandering down a trail.

It was a great hike with enough challenges to put the burn on a sedentary captain's muscles. Regardless it was a lot of fun and we saw great scenery during our 6.6 mi round trip hike. I recommend visiting this hike along Gold Creek for folks that are trying to get a little more exercise and adventure in on their vacation!

Well, it's been decided…We will now offer fishing licenses to our guests as part of our inclusive package. I've not done it up to now, but have decided that it makes life easier for our guests. After all, that's what we're about. Providing luxury and relaxation. So now when you step aboard, we don't have to spend the time getting licenses for those that want them or leave the dock wondering if someone should have one that doesn't. Hopefully this makes everyone's time with us more restful and enjoyable!

I was fortunate to have gotten to speak as the representative for Ledger Marine Charters today on Maritime Talk Radio with Richard. The interview can be heard directly here. Thanks for listening as we hope to have more experiences in the future to provide you with more information on yacht charter in the Pacific Northwest

Merry Christmas from Petersburg, AK! Alisa, Tristin and I are spending the holidays in Petersburg which is one of our favorite places in SE Alaska. We hope you are able to spend your holidays with your loved ones, enjoying great food and company. Cheers! Alisa, Tristin & Trig

We're honored to be invited to participate in the annual 76/SeaFair Holiday Cruise. We offer VIAGGIO for the guests to ride around in order to see Santa aboard his lovely sailing yacht and wave to him as we cruise past.

For many of our guests, this is a celebration they look forward to all year long and it's great for us to get to be a part of that. We have been fortunate in our lives and this is just a small way to give back. If you're interested in being a part of this event or would like to know more, click here. We look forward to seeing you on the water!

Tristin, Alisa and I wish you a great holiday season with your families, friends and loved ones!

The holidays are a great time to start planning your vacation for next summer. Please keep us in mind as you speak to your vacation buddies as we look forward to providing the best cruising experience in SE Alaska you'll find. Let us, and VIAGGIO surpass your expectations.

Alisa and I have spent the last two, brisk weeks in and around our favorite town, Petersburg, AK. 'What have you been doing?', you may ask. We've been fortunate enough to have been asked to come help out as a research team from the Marine Mammal Institute (, has been tagging some humpback whales. It's truly been amazing to be back in this cool weather and the great waters of SE Alaska.

Just another reason we love our jobs and can't wait to share all the new information we've gleaned during our time here!

Keep looking at the schedule! We continually have dates changing and becoming booked, so if you have some dates in mind, please get in touch so we can put a complimentary 10-day hold on them for you. It's our goal to ensure that we accommodate as many scheduling needs as possible. Help us get you the dates that fit your schedule.

Nothing is more fun that seeing the camaraderie and competition between boats and fans. There's no better way to attend a sporting event that "sailgating"! We have 3 boats to cruise on and urge anyone who hasn't done to book for the next home game. If you have your own boat, we'd love to see you out there!

Chef Alisa has a GREAT talent for creating exquisitely designed and scrumptious cuisine aboard VIAGGIO. If you would like to see a small sampling of what I am treated to all summer, please save her Instagram page in your browser. Here's the link:

Chef Alisa updates it regularly and with our upcoming holiday season, I would expect to see more tasty treats so make sure you visit it regularly. - Trig

Well…we've finally made it back to Seattle after another successful season! Many thanks to all of our great 2014 guests for helping us enjoy one of the most rewarding jobs in the world. It's good to be back, but we're looking forward to our shoulder season and 2015 season 'work'.

Had a great breakfast this morning on the back deck, sun is out - it's a beautiful day to be in Alaska.
